ACCOMMODATIONS: Fully equipped cabins (starting at $75.00/night to $150.00/night), RV sites ($25.00/day for full hookups which include water, sewage connections, and 20A, 30A and 50A connections), and primitive camp sites ($25.00/night for up to 5 people and $5.00 for each additional person) to choose from.

CABIN ONE

Located on the edge of the Cherokee National Forest with trails adjacent to the forest. Cabin contains one bedroom with a full bed and attached bath and second bedroom with two twin beds. Living room has a couch that would sleep one. The kitchen contains a gas stove and refrigerator. Outdoor firepit.

CABIN TWO

Located on the site where the horses are housed. Contains one full bed, a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and private bathroom and shower. There are no kitchen facilities.

CABIN THREE

Also located on site where horses are housed. Contains one king bed, one full bed, one futon that sleeps two, another futon that sleeps one, and a fold out chair that sleeps one. There is a full kitchen and one bathroom.

Reservation Policy for Cabins: Reservations require a deposit for half of the amount in the form of a cashier’s check or money order. Checks will be accepted only if they are received in a sufficient amount of time to clear. Once a check clears your reservation will be confirmed. There is a two day minimum on cabin rentals. Check in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is at 11:00 am. Sorry, no exceptions.

Cancellations: Must be received two weeks prior to arrival date in order to ensure a refund of half of your deposit.

Reservation Policy for RV & Camp Sites: Same as above, however the two night minimum does not apply.

Campsite rules: No fireworks, no cutting or defacing of trees, fires must be contained in firepit. Please respect other guests on the property and residents of the Grassy Fork community whose values may be different from yours. Some activities (ask us) MUST be confined to your site.

All rates are subject to a 12.75% tax and final payments must be made by cashier’s check, traveler’s check or cash.

All riding is done on private property adjacent to the Cherokee National Forest.

Hiking

Hike trails on the property of
Big Creek Outdoors and

of the northeast corner of “the
park” or hike trails of the
Cherokee National Forest that

Fishing

The area offers abundant opportunities for fishing- everything
from fly fishing in the creeks nearby, or river fishing in the
Pigeon or French Broad Rivers or lake fishing in nearby

Mountain Biking

Big Creek Outdoors is situated in an area that is very unique. Residing in the boundaries of Cocke County, TN, which has an extensive mountain bike trail net-work traversing the Cherokee National Forest. These trails may be as short as the 2.3 mile Meadow Creek Mountain Trail and as long as the 100-mile Lemon Gap Trail. Biking is permitted in the Cherokee National Forest only on designated trails. A copy of the bicycle trail maps are provided to guests of Big Creek Outdoors.

Swimming

Just a short drive from Big Creek Outdoors (15 minutes), explore the cold waters of Big Creek where many people in the area first learned to swim. Dive off
the big rocks or put on your goggles and check out
the trout swimming with you.

Whitewater Rafting

Hartford has become a mecca for whitewater enthusiasts - both rafters and kyakers. Cataloochee Creek and Big Creek are two of the tributaries that flow out of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park into the Pigeon River. Several whitewater rafting companies operate on the Pigeon River out of Hartford. For a complete listing see www.cockecounty.com.
